Choccy Character Profile
Hailing from an intergalactic rock far, far away is our green, googly-eyed man of mystery, Choccy!
After a fateful crash-landing into the grazing pastures of Mooon Shaker, Mikey soon developed a knack
for making incredibly tasty milkshakes. Where he comes from is a complete mystery to the gang, in fact
everything he says is a complete mystery! Mikey has now developed a frantic form of sign language to
communicate with his new found friends, yet to the gang Mikeys messages are clear as mud. How will he
ever tell Flossy that he just wants to be friends?
Although he may look a little strange to most, our Cool Creations Gang has taken him on board and
all tend to agree that Mikey possesses a superior form of intellect, especially when it comes to making
milkshakes!
Fun Facts
'Alien' simply means foreigner to their surroundings. Just think, if you travelled to another country, you could be an alien!
About 6% of the Australian population has had one or more sightings of UFO's!
The first reference to the term 'Milkshake' appeared in print in 1885 and even contained some whisky!
On October 30, 1938, Orson Welles produced a radio show about an alien invasion. So convincing was his radio script, the whole city of New York went into panic believing they were actually under attack. It was then converted to film and has recently been re-released as "War of the Worlds".
Steven Spielberg's ET had his face modelled after poet Carl Sandburg and genius Albert Einstein. Quite an attractive pair they turned out to be!!!
Party Hints And Tips
When planning your party, there are no right or wrongs. But there are things you can do to make sure you have all bases covered. Here are just a couple of the things we do to make the perfect party perfect. Remember, these are just a few ideas; the rest is up to you!
Games
Fun fun for everyone!
There are a million-and-one games to play at parties, it all depends on what is right for you! We feel
no party is complete without at least a game or two, but as fun as they are, they can also be a bit
tricky...
Think about who you have invited. Will they all be able to play? And hey, think about how many people
you have invited, you don't want one game to take hours to play. If there are a lot of people, think of
a game that has multiple people playing at once like dodgeball for instance, or a game with a quick
rotation of turns, like pin the tail on the donkey.
Chess is not a good party game!
Why not try a wacky-relay? All you need is a bunch of crazy clothes (maybe mum and dads old stuff? Ask first!) and instead of handing over a baton to your team-mate, before you take-off you have to put on a new piece of clothing!
When, Where, HOW???
Too much fun, not too long
Think of a way to keep the party going. No-one likes a party to drag! A good way to do this is to
sit down with your party-planners and think of how many activities you want to do and how long they may
take. As tempting as it may be, try not to make the party too long. You would rather have a jam-packed
party than run out of things to do. Leave people wanting more, not wanting to leave!
How Polite!
Please and thank you go a long way!
Remember your manners! Sometimes Cornelius tends to forget his, but we know he means well he just
gets a bit carried away with all the fun. Without your friends and family there would be no party, and
without a party there is no us! Always remember to thank people if they bring gifts or help in any way.
Sometimes it can be nice to write a little thank you note to pop into the loot bags for the end of the
party. That way your friends will have a little memento from your special day!
Tasty Treats!
Remember, be creative! Food is a great way to keep the energy levels up for your party. Instead of one
big banquet, why not try little snack breaks between activities? This way you can keep the party goers
happy without being too full to play!
You can even think of crazy ways to mix and match your Cool Creations. For example, have you ever
wondered what would happen if Snowy and Choccy were in the kitchen together? Did someone say
THICKSHAKES???
Most Importantly...
HAVE FUN!!!
